Gorgeous splashes of colour

I'm not feeling too well at the moment and am struggling a bit.  One thing that's helping is all the beautiful flowers around our house right now.  I thought you might enjoy them, too.

A moth orchid I was given for my birthday a month ago, and the bleeding heart vine I got for Christmas a few years back.  I can see these from my bed.

The nasturtiums we planted years ago have spread to our neighbours' place.  Now a plant from their side of the fence is sending a cascade of rich orange flowers down our side.  I see these from my bed, too :-)

Cinerareas that I can just see at the foot of the bed.  I love their rich blue colour.

There's a more purplish one you can see in the left of the picture, but that one's mostly finished flowering now.

And a pink one's just getting started off to the far left.

From the same window (although only when I'm up and about) I can see this riot of colour.  Yellow and orange calendula marigolds in amongst kale, cavolo nero and salad veg off to the left, our yellow nasturtiums in the centre and one lonely calendula off to the right.

Violas (as well as a few almost-black pansies) that I was given for my birthday - mixed in with white forget-me-nots, pink busy lizzies and a bright yellow dandelion.  I see these when I sit in the sun at afternoon tea time.

At afternoon tea I also see this citrus-scented geranium.  I really grow it for scent, not for looks, but I do enjoy its quiet prettiness at this time of year.  In the blue pot to the left a yellow rose with a gorgeous scent (given to me by my brother years ago) is just starting to come back to life.
